Mission
The Long Beach Bar Foundation is
a non-profit 501 (C) (3) charitable organization dedicated to
strengthen the youth of the greater Long Beach community through
juvenile crime prevention and diversion, scholarships, legal
education and other charitable programs.
About the
Long Beach Bar Foundation
Since its inception in 1994, the
Long Beach Bar Foundation has operated the highly successful
SHORTSTOP Program, which diverts non-violent juvenile offenders
ages 10-17 away from the juvenile justice system through legal
education for juveniles and their parents. More

Mark Taper Foundation, a Los Angeles-based private family foundation, for their recent significant contribution to LBBF and the SHORTSTOP Program and Thank you to the Foundation of the State Bar of California for their recent significant contribution to LBBF and the SHORTSTOP Program. Thank you to Union Pacific Foundation for their recent contribution of $5,000, Thank you to the Lowitz Foundation for their recent contribution of $3,000, and also, thank you to Staples Stores for their recent contribution of $600 to support the successful SHORTSTOP Program.
